National Hardware Group is a wholesale network supplying more than 100,000 hardware products to independent stores nationwide. Its stated mission is to support local hardware retailers rather than replace them, encouraging shoppers to try local stores first. Customers can browse a wide range of merchandise online, choose to ship orders to a hometown store, and contact the group for help with orders, shipping, and returns. The site also offers pro and contractor accounts, with applications for net terms.

Its broad assortment covers tools, fasteners, building and plumbing supplies, electrical products, paint and decorating materials, and home maintenance essentials. Shoppers can also find lawn and garden goods, outdoor living and seasonal products, automotive and farm supplies, lighting, appliances, kitchenware, cleaning products, safety equipment, and items for pets and recreation. The catalog includes products from trusted, authentic brands and serves both everyday household needs and professional projects. National Hardware Group combines online product discovery and ordering with a retail model centered on independent local stores, connecting a large selection of merchandise to communities through hometown retailers.
