National Karate is a family-focused martial arts school in Oklahoma City, offering training for children, teens, and adults. Founded in 1974 by Grandmaster Jim Butin, a world champion in bare-knuckle karate, the school has served the local community for more than 50 years. In 2018, former students and longtime assistant instructors Phillip Rosier and David Steece assumed ownership and continued its teaching legacy.

Programs are tailored to different ages and experience levels. Kinder Karate introduces children ages three to five to basic techniques through drills that develop balance, coordination, and listening skills. Beginner classes for ages six to twelve teach kicks, punches, and self-defense alongside respect, discipline, focus, and perseverance. Teen classes combine boxing and kickboxing drills with karate instruction, while adult martial arts students progress through karate and multiple martial arts systems, practicing practical self-defense and striking combinations.

The school emphasizes patient, encouraging instruction and a supportive community. Its newly renovated facility and flexible membership plans support family participation.
