The National Massage Championship (The NMC) is a UK competition celebrating professionalism and skill in massage therapy and bodywork. Its eighth edition is scheduled for 4 and 5 October 2026 at the Professional Beauty Show in ExCeL London. The event welcomes qualified massage therapists and bodyworkers to compete across eight categories, with opportunities to win trophies and demonstrate their techniques to fellow professionals and visitors.
The programme spans a range of approaches. Day one features Freestyle Western Massage, Freestyle Eastern Massage, Spa/Wellness Massage, Chair Massage, Facial Massage and Massage with Tools. Day two includes Advanced/Clinical Massage and Swedish/Deep Tissue Massage, alongside a new Judges and Champion demonstration. The NMC provides online information about registration and late entries, competition rules, schedules, judges, prizes and international participation. Spectators and supporters can register for free tickets, while competitors can enter the event through the website.
