About National Science and Media Museum
Pictureville Cinema is a brand that offers a unique and immersive cinema experience. Located within the National Science and Media Museum in Bradford, Pictureville Cinema is committed to providing top-quality screenings for film enthusiasts. Open seven days a week, this cinema is dedicated to bringing the magic of film to audiences of all ages.
In addition to its regular film showings, Pictureville Cinema is also part of a larger project called Sound and Vision. With the support of The National Lottery Heritage Fund, Pictureville Cinema is developing new Sound and Vision galleries that will showcase key objects and stories from their world-class collections of photography, film, television, animation, videogames, and sound technologies. This transformative project aims to make the museum more relevant and meaningful to a twenty-first-century audience.
