National Neurodiversity Assessments

National Neurodiversity Assessments is a UK-wide provider of multidisciplinary Autism and ADHD assessments for children, teenagers and adults. The service describes its approach as neuroaffirming and strength-based, aiming to help people understand their needs and identify practical support. Its experienced clinical team offers remote and in-person appointments, with assessments guided by NICE standards and comprehensive reports that can be shared with GPs, schools or employers.

Clients can access assessments privately, without a GP referral, or through the NHS Right to Choose scheme following a GP referral. Private appointments are typically available within weeks, while Right to Choose waiting times vary by local area. Assessments are tailored to age and circumstances, including family-centred and play-based approaches for children, and support that considers school, friendships and workplace adjustments. The service also provides post-diagnosis support, including coaching, medication and family support, as well as recommendations for next steps. Free Autism and ADHD screening tools are available for children, adolescents and adults; these are intended to indicate whether a full diagnostic assessment may be helpful, not to provide a diagnosis.
