Nationalpark Harz is a brand that represents the enchanting mountain wilderness found in the heart of Germany. Boasting extensive forests transforming into wilderness, picturesque rocky landscapes, ancient moors, and pristine streams, it is home not only to elusive creatures like lynx and wildcats but also the majestic Brocken Mountain. Following the global national park ethos of letting nature be itself, the Nationalpark Harz allows nature to flourish freely in large parts of its territory.

Formerly managed forests with their human-influenced monoculture of fir trees are now being restored back to their wild natural state. This transformation, though initially unfamiliar, is fascinating. Nature operates on its own timeline and system, and the Nationalpark Harz is dedicated to preserving and nurturing the awe-inspiring diversity and beauty of untamed nature.

If you look closely, you'll find life flourishing everywhere. Experience the wilderness in the making at one of the largest forest national parks in Germany - the Nationalpark Harz
