About Nat’l TPS Alliance
The National TPS Alliance is a dedicated organization formed in June 2017 by Temporary Protected Status (TPS) beneficiaries from Haiti, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Nepal, gathering in Washington D. C. to advocate for their rights.
Led by TPS holders across the United States, the Alliance aims to preserve TPS in the short term while pushing for long-term legislation that facilitates a pathway to permanent residency for all beneficiaries. Comprising approximately 1,000 active participants, the organization includes TPS holders, their U. S.
citizen children, community leaders, and numerous non-profit partners. The Alliance operates around 35 local committees nationwide, focusing on the preservation of dignity and fairness for TPS holders amidst challenging immigration policies. They aim to address urgent issues regarding family separations and the unjust termination of TPS designations.
Through their Legislative Principles, the Alliance advocates for a comprehensive reform that enables TPS holders to adjust to Legal Permanent Resident status while protecting their rights and offering a secure future in the U. S
