by Native Seeds Genealogy

Native Seeds is an Aboriginal-owned, operated and controlled business specialising in genealogy, family research and cultural reconnection. Founded by Margy Duke, it provides professional Aboriginal services grounded in cultural safety, trauma-informed practice and a strengths-focused approach. Its work is guided by the values of Spirit Lore: love, respect, courage, honesty, wisdom, humility and truth.

Native Seeds supports Aboriginal children, young people and families involved in child protection and out-of-home care, as well as adults who have left care, former State Wards and Stolen Generations survivors. Its services include Aboriginal family research and family mapping, family finding, family group conferencing, life story work, Aboriginal kinship assessments, cultural plans, and support with identity, healing and wellness. The central focus is helping people who have been separated from, or become disconnected from, their families and communities to reconnect with their cultural heritage.

The business brings 13 years of experience working with children and families in foster and out-of-home-care systems.
