Native Spirit Nursery

Native Spirit Nursery is a 100% Indigenous-owned and managed business in Wanneroo, Western Australia, established in 2022 to grow local native plants. Its five-hectare nursery has the capacity to produce up to five million plants annually and offers a broad selection of almost 400 species, with 95% verified as native to south-west WA. Seeds are sourced from local, licensed collectors.

The range includes native tubestock, shrubs and groundcovers for home gardeners, as well as plants for wholesale and large-scale projects. Customers include councils, developers, landscapers, revegetation contractors, government departments and environmental groups. The nursery provides retail sales, online ordering, pickup and local delivery, and contract growing tailored to project requirements.

Its retail nursery is open Thursday to Sunday, 8am to 4pm; online orders can be sent to Australian states except Tasmania. Native Spirit also partners with the not-for-profit Desire to Aspire to run the Kwadget Koorl horticulture traineeship, supporting Indigenous youth with paid work, practical training and pathways to nationally recognised qualifications
