NATO Retail Tobacco Association is a national trade association dedicated to safeguarding the interests of tobacco retailers and legal-age adult consumers. Committed to monitoring and responding to tobacco-related legislation at the local, state, and federal levels, NATO aims to enhance the common business interests of all tobacco retailers. Through a proactive approach, NATO informs and educates elected officials about the potential consequences of proposed tobacco-related laws and regulations on retailers and the freedom of choice for adult customers.
Members receive weekly electronic bulletins called NATO News, keeping them well-informed about pending tobacco legislation and regulations. Additionally, NATO offers assistance to members in effectively responding to local, state, and federal legislations. This association firmly encourages its members to adhere to the highest professional standards when serving the adult public, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal tobacco-related laws and regulations.
