Natura International Polska

Fundacja Ochrony Przyrody NATURA is a Polish nature conservation foundation based in Białystok. It develops and delivers comprehensive projects focused on active nature protection, applied ecology and environmental education. The foundation believes conservation is most effective when public institutions, nonprofit organizations, scientific institutions and individual experts work together. It also promotes the exchange of practical experience and public education.

NATURA carries out ecological surveys and uses research findings to develop conservation strategies suited to habitats and species. Its work includes practical conservation initiatives and innovative approaches intended to maintain biodiversity and ecological integrity across landscapes. The foundation has begun active conservation on land it owns and in cooperation with partners, including efforts to establish nature reserves. It has also developed agricultural management models for the great snipe, which are now used in designing agri-environmental programs.

Its listed projects include KPO, Dubelta, Ptaki Strefowe and Dolina Górnej Narwi. Through research, partnerships and education, the foundation connects conservation planning with on-the-ground action.
