About Natura Argentina
Natura Argentina is an organization dedicated to promoting the creation of protected areas in Argentina for the conservation of natural ecosystems and wildlife. They believe in the importance of protected areas as a strategy for biodiversity preservation, poverty reduction, and as an essential component of climate change mitigation and adaptation plans. These protected areas not only safeguard biodiversity but also contribute to the preservation of water sources, control of biological pests, and regulation of zoonotic diseases.
Furthermore, Natura Argentina envisions these areas as spaces that promote sustainable, productive activities, community participation, and economic, tourist, scientific, and educational development at the local and regional level. Through their various projects, such as Parque Nacional Ansenuza and Sierras de Chañi, they strive to advance the creation and management of protected areas in Argentina.
