Nature en Mont Pilat is an association focused on environmental education in the Pilat area of France. It offers nature-based activities and educational outings for children and families, helping participants explore local wildlife, plants, and ecosystems through observation, creative projects, and hands-on learning. Programs include workshops using natural materials for crafts such as weaving and simple instruments, as well as sessions about bees, honey, flowers, and pollination, sometimes featuring observation of a glass-sided hive and honey tasting.
The association also takes part in community events with local partners, including the Pilat Regional Natural Park and the Centre d’Observation de la Nature de l’Île du Beurre. Its activities have included nocturnal wildlife events with exhibitions, owl-pellet dissections, craft-making, storytelling, and guided listening or observation outings focused on owls and other birds of prey. Nature en Mont Pilat organizes activities in and around Pélussin and provides information and registration through its email contact and social media. Its work combines discovery, practical experiences, and awareness of the natural environment.
