Nature World Wildlife Rescue is a nonprofit, volunteer-run wildlife rehabilitation organization based in Homosassa, Florida. Established in 1985, it is state and federally permitted and has handled more than 39,000 wildlife cases as of 2025. Its mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and release injured or orphaned animals, with the aim of returning them to their natural habitats.

The organization cares for native Florida wildlife, and sometimes exotic animals, including birds, mammals, and reptiles. Its work may involve raptors, shorebirds, songbirds, bobcats, deer, rabbits, turtles, and many other species. Nature World serves communities across several North Central Florida counties, including Citrus, Levy, Marion, and Hernando.

It offers guidance to people who find injured or orphaned wildlife and accepts animal drop-offs during facility hours. The organization also provides off-site educational outreach programs, though in-person facility tours are not currently available. Nature World does not charge for rescues or memberships and receives no government funding, relying on public donations, donated supplies, and volunteer support.
