Natur im Garten International is a European platform dedicated to natural and ecological gardening. Established in 2012, it brings together initiatives and partners in Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, South Tyrol, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, supporting the exchange and visibility of nature-friendly gardening across borders. In Germany, the network includes partner businesses and display gardens, with regional listings spanning Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Hesse, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, North Rhine-Westphalia, Lower Saxony and Thuringia.

A central activity is the European Award for Ecological Gardening, which recognises outstanding, completed projects and high-quality achievements grounded in ecological gardening. The organisation also promotes the International “Natur im Garten” Day, observed on 30 June as a shared signal of commitment to environmental protection and biodiversity. Through its international platform, awards and awareness day, Natur im Garten International connects people and projects that put ecological principles at the heart of gardening.
