Natur und Kunst Elbtal

Natur & Kunst Elbtal is a nature education project led by Katrin Skrzypietz in Dresden, offering opportunities to explore the Elbtal’s meadows, riverbanks and diverse natural landscapes. Its activities bring together learning, creativity and attentive experience outdoors, welcoming people of all ages and backgrounds.

Offerings include guided walks focused on native wild plants, where participants learn about local species and their characteristics. “Walk and Talk” sessions combine relaxed English practice with walks along the Elbe, while open-group nature drawing sessions invite observation and creative expression without requiring prior experience. The project also welcomes enquiries about nature tours, language activities and art experiences in the Elbtal.

Katrin Skrzypietz is a state-certified educator, forest educator and experienced nature guide, with many years of experience working outdoors with children and adults. Her approach emphasizes sustainable environmental education and a thoughtful, responsible relationship with nature. Through shared discovery, knowledge and conversation, Natur & Kunst Elbtal encourages participants to deepen their connection with the natural world.
