Navajeevana is a prominent organization in Sri Lanka that is dedicated to disability inclusive development. With a history dating back to 1987, Navajeevana initially started as a small pre-school for fifteen children. However, it has since evolved into a non-profit organization that offers rehabilitative services and advocates for disability rights on a national scale.

Navajeevana's headquarters are based in Tangalle, but they also provide aid to communities affected by war and the Indian Ocean Tsunami. Their mission is to promote the inclusion and rights of people with disabilities through a holistic community-based approach, as well as prevent disabilities through education and community action.

In 2008, Navajeevana opened a fully accessible rehabilitation center in Tangalle. This center provides various services such as physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, prosthetics and orthotics, supportive seating, wheelchair distributions, and audiological services. The center also includes accommodation for beneficiaries and their families, a craft shop, and a training center that can be rented for meetings and workshops.
