NAVOS

NAVOS Stetten / Künten is a local nature and bird conservation association serving the communities of Stetten and Künten in Switzerland. As a member of BirdLife Aargau, it is part of a wider network that brings together more than 100 local conservation groups and around 14,000 members. NAVOS works to support local wildlife and natural habitats through practical conservation projects, educational activities, and community events.

Its projects include amphibian protection, hedge maintenance, nest-box cleaning, invasive plant management, and stork ringing in Honert. The association also organizes botanical courses, introductory ornithology courses, nature excursions, and family activities. Its annual programme combines outdoor learning and hands-on work with opportunities for participants to share a simple meal and enjoy time together.

NAVOS welcomes both members and non-members to take part in events, including seasonal work sessions in Stetten and Künten. People interested in joining or supporting the association can enquire by email. Through its activities, NAVOS encourages people of all ages to discover, understand, and help protect nature in their local area.
