About Alannah & Madeline Foundation
The Alannah & Madeline Foundation is an Australian organisation dedicated to helping children and young people live free from violence and trauma, wherever they live, learn and play. Its work spans care, prevention and advocacy, with programs and resources for children, families, schools and communities. Offerings include trauma-informed support and consultancy, Buddy Bags, child and youth participation initiatives, digital-rights advocacy, gun-safety work, and resources that help families build digital skills.
Through eSmart, the Foundation provides online-safety education for schools and families, including free resources, digital learning tools and events. Its former National Centre Against Bullying (NCAB), established in 2002 and active until 2023, advised the Australian community on childhood bullying and safe schools. That mission continues through the Foundation and Dolly’s Dream, which works to prevent bullying and cyberbullying, particularly in rural, regional and remote communities.
Dolly’s Dream offers educational resources, a parent hub and a free, 24/7 support line for people affected by bullying. The Foundation also invites public involvement through donations, volunteering, fundraising and partnerships
