North Carolina Advocates for Justice is a nonpartisan association of legal professionals dedicated to empowering a strong community of trial lawyers. With over 2,000 members, NCAJ is the only organization in North Carolina that supports and advances the rights of plaintiffs' and criminal defense attorneys and their clients. Their mission is to level the playing field for those who are unable to fight for themselves and champion their causes in the courts and legislature.

Membership in NCAJ is open to North Carolina-licensed attorneys who focus on representing plaintiffs in areas such as personal injury, workers' compensation, disability rights, family law, consumer rights, or civil rights, as well as those who represent criminal defendants.
