About NATIONAL COMPETITIVENESS COMMISSION
The National Competitiveness Commission (NCC) is a leading catalyst for improving Zimbabwe's global competitiveness. As a public entity under the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the NCC focuses on a range of priorities to enhance industry productivity and promote the competitiveness of Zimbabwean goods and services in both domestic and global markets. The NCC's mandate, as guided by the National Competitiveness Commission Act, includes the development, coordination, and implementation of key policy improvements to create a competitive environment for Zimbabwean business.
It consists of various departments, including the Domestic Competitiveness Department, International Competitiveness Department, and Research and Policy Analysis Department, which provide evidence-based analysis and research to enhance productivity and competitiveness. With a mission to provide evidence-based policy advice and recommendations, the NCC aims to maintain an enabling environment that supports industry productivity and enhances Zimbabwe's global competitiveness.
