NCCP, short for the National Center for Children in Poverty, is an organization dedicated to advancing policies that promote equity in economic opportunity, mobility, and security for all families in the United States. They believe that economic security and essential supports are crucial for children and families to thrive. NCCP focuses on developing and implementing policies that ensure optimal physical and mental health for infants and young children, as well as economic supports for historically disadvantaged populations such as communities of color, immigrants, people with disabilities, and women.

With over 30 years of experience, NCCP conducts research and translates evidence into actionable recommendations for advocates and policymakers. They collaborate with national, state, and local organizations to design programs and policies that better support low-income families and children. By partnering with advocates, policymakers, program administrators, and service providers, NCCP strives to improve the lives and futures of low-income children and their families.
