About NC Conference UMC
The North Carolina Conference of The United Methodist Church is part of a worldwide connection of over 12 million members. We are one of 53 conferences in the United States, and we serve 56 counties in eastern North Carolina, from Elon to the coast and from the South Carolina border to the Virginia border. Our vision is to have healthy congregations and effective leaders in every place, making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
We focus on five key areas: healthy congregations, effective leaders, congregations for children, anti-racism, and unity. Our main office is located in Garner, NC, and we have organized into eight districts with district superintendents as the chief mission strategists. We have a variety of ministries, committees, and teams that work together to coordinate the mission and resources of the conference.
