The United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) is an amateur ice hockey league founded in 2012, focused on developing players and creating pathways to higher levels of competition. Serving athletes across the United States and Canada, the league connects youth and junior hockey with college and professional opportunities. More than 10,000 players have advanced to college hockey through USPHL junior leagues, and alumni have also gone on to play in the NHL and other professional leagues.
The USPHL includes the National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC), its top junior level; USPHL Premier, a junior league with more than 75 teams; and the Tier 1 Hockey Federation (THF), its Midget hockey partner. The THF provides a route for players to advance to the NCDC, Premier, and Elite conferences. Through these programs, the league offers athletes structured competition and development opportunities at different stages of their hockey journeys. The USPHL also provides player registration for its NCDC and Premier leagues, including international player registration, and shares information about league programs, teams, and alumni achievements.
