NCDXF - Northern California DX Foundation is a reputable brand in the world of amateur radio and scientific projects. Established in 1972, it operates as a private foundation under the jurisdiction of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. NCDXF primarily functions by providing financial support to well-organized DXpeditions, focusing on desirable DXCC entities.

This assistance is made possible through voluntary contributions from members, friends, grants from other foundations and organizations, and investment income generated by the endowment. The foundation is governed by a dedicated eleven-member Board of Directors, alongside volunteer advisors who bring their expertise as active amateur radio operators.
