About Evangelical Alliance
The Evangelical Alliance, known as the National Christian Evangelical Alliance of Sri Lanka (NCEASL), has been serving the Evangelical Church in Sri Lanka since 1952. Our membership includes over 200 churches, denominations, and organizations, all representing the Evangelical Christians in Sri Lanka. At NCEASL, our mission is to unite the Church and transform the nation.
We empower pastors and ministry workers to fulfill their calling and reach out to the people of Sri Lanka. Additionally, we provide support, assistance, and livelihoods to evangelical Christians throughout the country, especially to vulnerable communities in need. We also work with religious leaders, youth, and children to inspire change and make a positive impact in their communities.
Our efforts are carried out through four commissions: Missions and Evangelism, Religious Liberty and Social Justice (RLC), Relief and Development (RND), and the Youth Evangelical Alliance (YEA). We focus on equipping the national church, advocating for peace and justice, and building resilient communities. Our projects and initiatives benefit marginalized communities, regardless of their race, religion, caste, or creed.
