National Cutting Horse Australia (NCHA) is the leading organisation in Australia’s cutting horse industry. Established in 1974 and based in Tamworth, New South Wales, it champions the western-style equestrian sport of cutting, where horse and rider work together to demonstrate athleticism, intelligence and skill in handling cattle. NCHA supports a community ranging from newcomers and professional competitors to multigenerational cutting families, while promoting the sport’s Australian legacy and international profile.
