NCI FM, also known as Native Communications Inc., is a prominent Indigenous service organization operating in Manitoba since September 1971. As a non-profit and non-partisan entity, NCI FM aims to provide radio programming designed for and by Indigenous people, offering a platform for Indigenous language and cultural programming. NCI FM is considered The Voice of Indigenous People and has become an integral part of the Indigenous community throughout Manitoba.

The network currently reaches 98% of the province, broadcasting on 59 FM radio transmitters and covering over 75 communities, from Churchill to Winnipeg. With two major transmitters in Winnipeg/Selkirk and Brandon/Westman, NCI FM boasts a total power of 200,000 watts, making it the largest Indigenous radio network in Canada. In addition to federal government funding, NCI FM generates revenue through various means such as radio advertising, community events, and media BINGO.

The proceeds from these initiatives contribute to the operational costs and growth of the NCI network. At NCI FM, the primary focus remains on providing a valuable service to listeners and viewers while preserving and promoting Indigenous culture and heritage in Manitoba
