The National Center of Intellectual Property (NCIS) is Belarus’s national organization for supporting and protecting intellectual property. It works to strengthen the country’s intellectual property system and create opportunities to commercialize intellectual property while safeguarding the interests of market participants. Its work covers industrial property, including inventions, trademarks and other protected objects, as well as copyright and related rights.

NCIS provides practical resources and services for creators, businesses, researchers and intellectual property professionals. These include electronic application submission, patent and information services, consultations, training, document templates and guidance on fees and administrative procedures. Its website offers databases for industrial property, well-known trademarks, deposited works, collective management organizations and patent attorneys, alongside access to international intellectual property databases. The Center also supports commercialization through an intellectual property exchange and provides information on mediation and collective rights management.

In addition to public services, NCIS undertakes research, publishes specialist materials and organizes professional events.
