NCKCN

North Central Kansas Community Network (NCKCN) is a public/private partnership with the North Central Regional Planning Commission (NCRPC) that aims to provide internet solutions for rural communities. It serves 14 communities in North Central Kansas, offering high-speed fixed wireless internet and a range of other services. NCKCN is a non-profit organization headquartered in Beloit, KS, and was registered as such with the Secretary of State in 1995.

Unlike for-profit corporations, NCKCN's net profits are retained or distributed to other non-profit organizations selected by its board of directors. NCKCN operates as a Wide Area Network (WAN) that connects participating communities and educational institutions, providing access to the internet, email, file transfer protocol (FTP), virtual domain storage and administration, database storage, and more. Residential and business users can join NCKCN for a low-cost monthly fee, while non-profit institutions receive most services at no charge.

NCKCN also offers technical support and online support guides for its subscribers
