NCPPRC, the NorCal Practical Precision Rifle Club, was established in 2006 by Vu Pham and Shawn Shaw to cater to the rising demand for precision rifle shooters in Northern California. With a membership of nearly 100 individuals from diverse backgrounds, our mission is to provide a safe and controlled environment for serious practical/tactical precision rifle shooters to test their skills and abilities. We offer monthly competitions, practice sessions, clinics, and an annual two-day event that attracts participants from across the nation, including civilians, law enforcement, and military personnel.
Our inclusive approach welcomes individuals of all races, genders, and religions, as long as they are law-abiding citizens, legally eligible to possess a firearm, and 18 years of age or older. With a focus on promoting firearm safety, supporting new shooters, and standardizing match formats, NCPPRC strives to enhance the quality of precision rifle matches and develop programs at other ranges.
