About National Council for Persons with Disabilities
Welcome to the National Council for Persons with Disabilities, a state corporation dedicated to promoting and protecting the rights of individuals with disabilities. Our vision is to create a barrier-free society where everyone has equal opportunities.
At NCPWD, we offer a range of programs and services to empower and support persons with disabilities. Our priority areas include the National Development Fund for Persons with Disabilities, which provides funding opportunities throughout the year. We also offer cash transfers for individuals with severe disabilities who require full-time care.
Additionally, we have implemented the National Persons with Albinism Sunscreen Support Program, providing sunscreen lotions to over 3,026 persons with albinism. Our Disability Mainstreaming department facilitates programs integrating disability awareness in the public and private sectors.
Other services include job placement assistance, legal advisory services, and educational grants. We are committed to ensuring that persons with disabilities have access to the resources and support they need to live fulfilling lives.
