About National Career Service
The National Career Service (NCS) is a comprehensive platform that offers a wide range of employment and career-related services to the people of India. Launched by the Honorable Prime Minister in 2015, NCS aims to bridge the gap between job seekers and employers, individuals seeking training and career guidance, and agencies providing training and counseling. The NCS project consists of three pillars: an ICT-based portal, Model Career Centers, and interlinkage with employment exchanges across the country.
The portal provides services such as job search, job matching, career counseling, information on job fairs, and access to local service providers. It also facilitates registration for job seekers, employers, skill providers, career counselors, and government departments. The NCS portal can be accessed through computers, mobile browsers, Common Service Centers, career centers, and post offices.
Additionally, a multilingual call center is available for support in languages including Hindi, English, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu. Registration on the portal and its services are completely free of charge. NCS is dedicated to providing valuable career resources and guidance to empower individuals in their job search and career development journey
