With a rich history dating back to 1982, NCSC has over 800 members from Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, and other European countries. This diverse membership includes real estate companies, investors, center managers, retailers, service industries, trade associations, city planners, and even government and municipal authorities.

NCSC has recently expanded its focus beyond shopping centers, reflecting the evolving industry landscape. Now known as Nordic Commercial Spaces & Communities, NCSC aims to strike the perfect balance between services, experiences, and necessities, fostering innovation in commerce while serving communities. The organization plays a vital role in supporting the continuous development of Nordic commercial spaces and communities.

NCSC brings together various interest groups, creating a neutral platform for professional discussions and acting as a spokesperson and a valuable source of information for the shopping center industry. NCSC offers a range of services and initiatives, including 40 industry events in the Nordic countries with up to 450 participants, educational study tours, industry reports and data, and the prestigious NCSC Awards – the largest award competition for the Nordic shopping center industry.
