The SECU Foundation is dedicated to promoting local and community development through high-impact projects in the areas of housing, education, healthcare, and human services. This nonprofit organization was established by the State Employees' Credit Union (SECU) to address community issues beyond the scope of the credit union's everyday operations.

To fund these important initiatives, SECU has implemented a unique approach. A $1.00 per month maintenance fee is automatically debited from members' checking accounts and allocated to the SECU Foundation. This fee does not represent an additional charge but rather a reallocation of existing funds. SECU members can also choose to make additional tax-deductible donations through Member Access or by mailing a check directly to the foundation.

With over $250 million committed in scholarships, grants, and loans since 2004, the SECU Foundation has a proven track record of making a difference in our communities.
