The Northern California Walking Horse Association (NCWHA) is a community organization dedicated to building and supporting a pleasure walking horse community in Northern California. Its membership is open to the public, welcoming people interested in the Tennessee Walking Horse, including breeders, trainers, and owners. Members can take part in horse shows, group trail rides, and clinics, and may qualify for special member programs.

The association also recognizes achievements through year-end high point awards, bringing members together around participation and competition. Its website shares information about the board of directors, membership, events, the Hi Point program, past winners, and the history and gaits of the breed. Visitors can also access association files, contact the organization, sign up for email updates, and find a membership form.

Through its activities and resources, NCWHA offers opportunities to learn, ride, compete, and connect with others who share an interest in pleasure walking horses across the region
