The North Dakota Association of Community Providers (NDACP) is a statewide association representing community-based organizations that support people with developmental, intellectual, mental health, and physical disabilities. Its coalition includes 31 member organizations serving more than 195 communities across North Dakota. Together, members support approximately 4,000 people with developmental disabilities and represent thousands of professionals, including direct support staff who provide hands-on care.
NDACP works to strengthen the systems, workforce, and policies that make consistent, high-quality support possible throughout people’s lives. The association advocates for individuals with disabilities and the providers who serve them, engages with policymakers and community partners, and promotes inclusion and opportunities for people to thrive. It also connects providers, families, and professionals with resources, training, and expertise, while encouraging collaboration and the sharing of best practices. Through advocacy, education, and collective action, NDACP helps its members navigate policy and advance person-centered services. Its work aims to support meaningful, independent lives and strengthen community-based care across North Dakota.
