The North Dakota Art Gallery Association (NDAGA) is a nonprofit organization that has been promoting art since its establishment in 1975. With a mission to make art accessible to all, NDAGA organizes a support network for both rural and urban art communities. They foster appreciation and understanding of the arts among the public, coordinate and disseminate information, and provide common services to organizations involved in cultural activities. NDAGA also sponsors cultural performances and fine art exhibitions.

Administered by a board of gallery member representatives, NDAGA offers professional training opportunities and coordinates shared information and services for gallery personnel and Association members. They recognize and honor exceptional contemporary, folk, and traditional visual artists.

NDAGA receives financial support from the North Dakota Council on the Arts, which is funded by the state legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts. In addition, NDAGA is grateful for the backing they receive from their members and the generous sponsors of their traveling exhibition program.
