Nordic WLCG tier-1 facility, operated by NeIC, is a crucial part of the Worldwide LHC Computing Grid, supporting the research efforts at CERN's large hadron collider. This unique Nordic solution spans four countries - Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden, providing computing and storage resources for experiments such as ALICE and ATLAS. The facility utilizes the dCache system, developed with NeIC's contribution, to manage data across various centers efficiently.

Additionally, NDGF Tier1 offers essential services like VOMS, FTS, and smooth network operations to ensure seamless grid center functionality. The NLCG Committee oversees CERN-related activities within the Nordic region, acting as a reference group for Tier-1 operations.
