North Dakota Grazing Lands Coalition

The North Dakota Grazing Lands Coalition is a grassroots organization dedicated to improving the stewardship and health of grazing lands. It supports producers with education and technical assistance focused on regenerative, profitable grazing management, while also building conservation awareness among citizens and policymakers. Its programs connect people with practical knowledge and peer support to strengthen ranching operations and encourage responsible land management.

The Coalition offers a mentor network that helps producers find guidance suited to their needs, along with resources for learning about grazing management. Its North Dakota Grazing Exchange helps users connect around resources and livestock, and its events calendar highlights opportunities to participate and learn. Additional educational materials include podcasts, presentations, and videos, as well as information about the Leopold Award. Visitors can get involved by becoming members, donating, or supporting dedicated funds and endowments. The organization also shares updates through email and works with partners including the Natural Resources Conservation Service, the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, and North Dakota conservation agencies and trusts.
