About NDIS Review
The NDIS Review is an independent evaluation of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) initiated by the Minister for the NDIS, the Hon Bill Shorten MP. Its goal is to examine the design, operations, and sustainability of the NDIS, with a particular focus on putting people with disabilities at the center of the scheme. The review aims to restore trust, confidence, and pride in the NDIS by engaging with participants, their families, carers, nominees, and the broader community.
Led by Professor Bruce Bonyhady AM and Ms Lisa Paul AO PSM as co-chairs, the review involves two parts. Part 1 will assess the design, operations, and sustainability of the NDIS, while Part 2 will explore ways to create a more responsive, supportive, and sustainable market and workforce. The review is supported by a secretariat in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.
The NDIS Review seeks genuine engagement with all stakeholders to ensure it is guided by participant and community feedback. This includes building upon previous reviews and inviting individuals to share their thoughts and experiences. Visit the NDIS Review website to learn more about having your say on the NDIS
