About National Disability Rights Network
The National Disability Rights Network (NDRN) is a prominent brand dedicated to advocating for the rights of people with disabilities. Based in Washington, DC, NDRN works on behalf of Protection and Advocacy Systems (P&As) and Client Assistance Programs (CAPs), which are the largest providers of legal advocacy services for individuals with disabilities in the nation. NDRN's primary goal is to ensure that P&As/CAPs remain strong and effective.
They achieve this by promoting the network's capacity, providing training and technical assistance, and advocating for laws that protect the civil and human rights of people with disabilities. NDRN offers a range of services and resources to support individuals with disabilities, such as information on ADA and civil rights, community integration, healthcare, housing, education, employment, transportation, and more. They also keep the public informed through their website, social media channels, and regular news updates.
If you are a person with a disability in need of legal support or facing abuse, neglect, discrimination, or difficulty in accessing disability services, NDRN can help connect you to the appropriate Protection and Advocacy Systems in your state. Support NDRN's advocacy efforts by becoming an NDRN Ally and join them in fighting for the rights of people with disabilities
