It is designed to let creators pay from a shielded Zcash source, Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDC, or a wallet on another supported chain, rather than requiring them to start with a Solana wallet. For a launch, a solver funds a fresh Solana wallet, which receives SOL and creates the coin. The site says this approach keeps the identity of the payer, the originating wallet, and the payment chain private, while making the coin, its mint transaction, and the newly funded wallet public.
Creators can enter a coin name and ticker, optionally specify a developer purchase at the opening price, and provide a refund address if a launch is not filled within 45 minutes. The interface displays estimated fees, slippage, and live pricing. Users may connect a wallet to retain control of the launch wallet or keep the displayed claim secret. nearlaunch also features recent launches with market-cap, trading-volume, holder, and bonding-curve information, alongside links to documentation and project updates.
