About NEC for Medical & Allied Industry
Welcome to NEC for Medical & Allied Industry, where we are dedicated to advancing social justice and democracy in the workplace. As a Statutory Board formed in accordance with the Labour Act (28:01), we govern the conditions of service for employees and employers in the medical and allied industry.
Our objectives include ensuring 100% compliance with the Labour Act, Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA), and relevant statutes, settling labour disputes, and maintaining harmonious relationships between all parties. We believe that better workplaces lead to better care places for patients and everyone involved.
Our mission is to create harmonious relationships within the medical industry by upholding values such as integrity, communication, teamwork, and respect.
