Nederland Zoemt is a brand dedicated to providing more food and nesting opportunities for wild bees in the Netherlands. With their initiative, they aim to make a significant impact on the preservation of wild bees. By joining Nederland Zoemt, you can contribute to this cause as well! They offer a range of products and services to support their mission.
For municipalities, they provide information and guidance on bee-friendly management practices. They also offer educational resources for schools, including an e-learning program called Iets BIJ-leren where you can learn about the importance of bees and how to help them in less than half an hour. Additionally, Nederland Zoemt encourages individuals to take action in their own gardens to attract wild bees.
Started in 2017 as a collaboration between IVN Natuureducatie and Natuur & Milieu, this project was made possible by the support of LandschappenNL, Natuur & Milieu, IVN, and Naturalis, along with an extra contribution from the Nationale Postcode Loterij.
