Neigh Savers

Neigh Savers Foundation, Inc. is a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the well-being of horses. Founded in 2007, it began as a Thoroughbred rescue and expanded in October 2015 to serve horses of all breeds. The foundation has improved the lives of more than 700 horses, while continuing to prioritize Thoroughbreds, with a goal of having at least half of the horses it supports be Thoroughbreds.

Neigh Savers creates new beginnings for unwanted horses through rescue, rehabilitation, and retraining. Its work helps horses prepare for new careers or, when appropriate, live out their lives in a sanctuary setting. The organization also operates the Helen B. Johnson Memorial Sanctuary and shares information about sanctuary horses, adoption resources, and success stories. Supporters can contribute by donating, sponsoring a horse, or volunteering.
