About North East Immediate Care
North East Immediate Care is a registered charity in England, founded by a group of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing advanced emergency care on a voluntary basis to the people of the North East of England. They support the North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, covering an area of 3230 square miles and a population of over 2.7 million. After a successful trial period, the charity was officially formed and granted charity status in October 2022.
The team of healthcare professionals gained accreditation with BASICS (www.Basics.org.uk) and signed a memorandum of understanding with NEAS to provide immediate care services. They cover the entire NEAS area, offering vital support to those in need. With a focus on volunteer work, North East Immediate Care exemplifies dedication to serving the community in times of crisis.
