Neither Yesterdays

George J. Elbaum is a Holocaust survivor whose life story spans continents and decades, encompassing a journey of resilience and transformation. Born in Poland in 1939, he endured the harrowing experiences of the Holocaust, losing nearly his entire family before escaping the Warsaw ghetto. After the war, he and his mother emigrated to the United States in 1949, where George navigated the challenges of a new culture. With a distinguished academic background, he earned degrees in Aeronautics, Astronautics, and Nuclear Engineering from MIT and worked in the aerospace industry.

Elbaum later ventured into international trade, launching Reebok Russia post-USSR dissolution. His experiences fueled his decision to share his story, contributing to educational dialogues about the Holocaust through speaking events and published works like "Neither Yesterdays Nor Tomorrows," which illuminate the past for future generations. Committed to the belief that survivors have a responsibility to convey their stories, he seeks to foster understanding and compassion while urging the message of “Never again.”
