Nelson Gunsmithing

Nelson Gunsmithing is a Boise, Idaho gunsmithing business focused on improving firearm actions through detailed, hands-on fitting and finishing. Rather than relying on a simple trigger job or replacing a few springs, the shop takes a firearm apart and carefully files, polishes, and hand-fits its individual components. Its holistic action-job approach considers the firearm as a whole and addresses manufacturing defects, aiming to bring each gun to its best potential while preserving safety and reliability.

Nelson Gunsmithing presents its action jobs as a more comprehensive alternative to basic trigger work. Customers can explore the shop’s services and packages online or visit the Boise shop to see examples of its work in person. The website also provides practical information through sections covering services, frequently asked questions, and a blog, alongside details about the business and its contact information. With its emphasis on careful workmanship and the function of the complete action, Nelson Gunsmithing serves firearm owners seeking specialized gunsmithing rather than a limited adjustment or parts replacement.
