About NeoCare
NeoCare is a comprehensive pediatric and neonatal care center in Guatemala, supporting children from birth through their growth, with particular attention to premature babies and patients at high risk. Its multidisciplinary team provides coordinated, evidence-informed care to promote each child’s health and development and to support families through hospital stays and the transition home.
Services include general pediatrics, neonatology, pediatric infectious disease, vaccinations, pediatric nutrition, breastfeeding consultation, child psychology, and pediatric and neonatal physiotherapy and rehabilitation. The center’s early-intervention and neurodevelopment follow-up includes motor and neurobehavioral assessments, treatment for head-shape asymmetries, oral-motor support, neonatal massage, hydrotherapy, and guidance for caregivers. Psychological consultations offer assessment and practical support for concerns such as parenting, anxiety, postpartum depression, and grief.
NeoCare also provides parent education through workshops, a parent school, and online courses. Topics listed include kangaroo mother care, emotional support for parents of premature babies, and breastfeeding basics. Appointments can be scheduled online or by phone.
